Rushpool Hall is situated in its own ninety acre estate of ancient woodlands. It overlooks the valley of Saltburn, which houses the Italian Valley Gardens, the miniature railway and the Woodland Centre. Saltburn itself boasts breathtaking sea views and walks, as well as a Victorian Pier and inclined tramway. For those interested in local history, there is the Ironstone Mining Museum, and for the more adventurous, Saltburn has both a golf club and a surf school.
For guests travelling further afield in the local area, there are a variety of places of interest to visit. Whether it's driving through the Yorkshire Dales and market towns, or taking a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, there is always something to see and do. Rushpool Hall is not far from the coastal town of Whitby, with its famous whalebone harbour and Dracula connections. We also have easy links to first class shopping facilities in Leeds, York and Newcastle.
